For the price, this is a very good rubber watch band. It’s stylish, and it seems like it should be durable. The metal that the buckle is made from is a little on the chincy side, but I don’t think it will impact functionality.
This is my first rubber watch band, and I should mention for the benefit of others that rubber watch bands do not breathe at all. I find I periodically have to remove my watch just to allow the skin beneath it to dry out. I’m sure this is the case with all rubber bands, but if you haven’t owned one before, take this into account in making your purchase.

The band is made of a rubber-like product with parallel grooves; it looks very dressy for being as sturdy as it is. The buckle is stainless steel with a double catch; it’s easy to open when you want to but doesn’t fly open on its own.
The band has plenty of adjustment for smaller wrists like mine. You do need to cut off unused links to make the adjustment, but a sturdy pair of scissors did the job just fine. I was careful to trim the links one at a time until I got a good fit, as cutting off a link is a non-reversible operation. If you aren’t comfortable doing this yourself, I’m sure that a good jewelry store would do it for you.
I am very, very pleased with this product.
