For quite a number of years, I’ve been using Casio watches, and the only problem there ever was about them is, I would manage to break them in one way or another. In 1999 a number of people were hyped up about computer technology keeping up with the year 2000, and the 21st century; Quite a fuss! 2000 was a leap year, and in 1999, I moded my Casio into the year 2000, and was easily able to bring up Feb. 29, 2000. So if a $20 something watch could do it, whats the big deal ?! I make it a point to have Casio, and Amazon.com has unbeliveable low pricing!!!

I owned a watch almost exactly the same as this 20 years ago. I loved it then, and it’s just as good now. Mostly used as an inexpensive watch for the gym, I needed something light and water resistant.
Good buy, and good value.

Wife likes the watch, but we could not find a button which would provide a night light. Could not find anything in the directions on that topic, so guessing that there is no light button. Otherwise it’s the cat’s meow.

What can you expect from a $12 timepiece? As long as it tells time and a battery that could last ten years, I’m sure you can’t go wrong with this one; with Casio quality to boot.

I bought this watch for my middle-school aged son. He loves the fact he can set specific date for the alarm and the function is easy to use. The water-resistance feature works nicely, he swims with it during all his swim team practice. The watch is relatively thin, so it’s easy for kids to wear. However, putting it on takes some practice because of the stiff rubber wrist band.
