This model comes with a 55cm ball. The benefits of sitting on an exercise ball while working are the same incorporating it in exercise routines; it promotes flexibility, coordination, motor skills, core strengthening, and balance. “Active sitting” means that your body, when positioned on top of an exercise ball, is constantly making small adjustments, often imperceptible, to remain balanced and thus is constantly exercising a large group of muscles in doing so. By strengthening your body’s core muscle group you help improve your posture, have better balance and guard against back injuries. It takes some time before your body becomes accustom to sitting on an exercise ball, since your core muscles may not have gotten much exercise previously. i bougt this chair because i trust the reviews but i am having a difficult time adjusting. maybe the ball is blown up too much.
i am 5′ 1″ any suggestions?

it’s a great chair, the only problem that I found with it is the process of filling it up with air to the proper air level. the person that wrote the review about it falling through the bottom of the chair must not have any common sense. because in order for it to be that small the ball would not be 55 cm, it would be more like 25-30 cm (a little less than a foot).
Sorry about the tangent, all in all, it’s a great chair for what you are getting. you could just get a larger ball and use that if you really wanted, but if that were the case you wouldn’t be able to move around. You could just roll over a staple if you try and you wouldn’t get the lower back support that this chair supplies.

I use this chair every day. It’s helped my posture and I’m able to sit for longer periods than in a regular office chair without developing back fatigue. When I first started using it, it did make my inner thighs work a little harder than usual (I could feel them) but after about a week I didn’t notice this anymore. It’s a good chair if you want to improve your posture.
