The Gripmaster Pro isolates and strengthens each finger individually, helping you improve your overall strength, endurance, and dexterity. A few daily workouts with the Gripmaster Pro and you’ll enjoy better control of a baseball/softball bat, tennis racquet, or golf club, with each finger working in seamless unity with the others. You’ll also find a ton of other uses for the Gripmaster Pro, including playing guitar or violin, rock climbing, bowling, target shooting, martial arts, yoga, or even relieving stress while clicking a mouse or gaming for hours on end.
To keep things interesting and to accommodate certain uses, the company recommends several different exercises, including the “fingertip pinch,” “flatfist,” “powergrip,” “wristflex,” and “thumbpinch,” most of which are explained on the Gripmaster website. Best of all, you can work out anytime and anywhere with the Gripmaster Pro, which fits neatly in your pocket when not in use. This particular version of the Gripmaster Pro offers an extra-heavy tension of 11 pounds per finger–a recommended tension for extremely strong hands.

This thing is great, I had the heavy tenesion (9 pounds per finger) and it eventually got too easy as I have incredibly strong hands. I am an avid bowler and play man sports at 19 years old, so this really helps in equalizing the strength and increasing strength in both my hands.

I was having some hand issues and decided to start strengthening them up. I began with the standard Gripmaster (also very good products) in the medium tension, then moved up to the heavy tension. That got my hands even stronger so I thought I would go for this Pro model to keep increasing strength even more. I bought two so I can go simultaneously. These are very nicely made and the extra-heavy tension is just right for my now greatly improved hand strength. I play the guitar and these devices have helped enormously with my hand strength and endurance while playing.
Hint – if you reverse the grip (hold the base in your fingers and work one of the individual finger springs with your thumb) it makes a perfect exercise to strengthen your thumb muscles as well.
I recommend all the Gripmaster products – they have done a lot of good for me and are very well made. This model should last me for a long time. If somehow I wear them out I will absolutely buy new ones.

I already own the GripMaster, which is the older looking version of the Gripmaster Hand Exerciser Red, Medium Tension (7-Pounds per Finger).
I reached the limit of grip and finger strengthening that the medium tension model could give me, so I recently acquired the heavy tension Pro model. I still plan to use the medium tension model to work my pinkies until they are strong enough for this one (Yeah I know, I haven’t worked my pinkies as much as I should have!). I’ve only been using the heavy tension Pro model for a short time but already I am experiencing a whole new level of aching hands!
Well worth the money if you want to improve your grip and finger strength above what the medium one has to offer. Also works great as a stress reliever!

I have been rock climbing for about 8 months and was looking for a way to work my hands on my off days. The grip master medium was too light and I would just work with it for about an hour before I felt anything. The grip master pro gives high tension too all the fingers allowing you to strengthen your overall grip. It has really helped me with my grip and endurance on the rock walls. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for the best grip.
