It was impossible to practice on this mat. After wiping it down, washing it, and finally scrubbing it, the surface was still too slippery to be safe or functional. Also very thin and cheap feeling. If this mat is representative of TPE mats, I suggest trying something else.
I am a yoga instructor and cannot mess around with hoping that eventually the mat would somehow magically be safe enough to practice on!

I was totally surprised how light the mat was to carry, but when I used it, I had the support and comfort of the much heavier natural rubber mats. This is totally biodegradable and has awesome traction! I love it! Really cool colors too. Having gotten to use it for the past 6 months and I can now say I’ll never switch back to a rubber mat.
