I’ve read that this runs small, so I bought a small/medium in different colors for my 4 yo and my 7 yo. It’s a little big on my 4 yo, but it is not going to fall off, so I think it’s fine. It fits better on my 7 yo but he still has room in it to grow. I’m 5’5″ 130 lbs. When I tried it on, it fit fine, although a little shorter than I’d like. It went down to my navel.
The only part of the vest that reflects are the strips and the center of the front. It is not 360 degrees of reflection, just the front and back of the vest. The other areas cannot be seen well at dusk. Even the yellow doesn’t show well. When light is shined directly onto the vests, the reflection of the strips is quite bright.

We got these vests to wear for a overnight relay race, so reflective vests were required. They worked great, very light weight and easy to put on. I had read the reviews about them being short and they are a little short- but how long does a vest need to be? I thought they were fine and all six of the girls in our van loved them.

Cars slow down now at night when I’m jogging on streets that have no sidewalks. They didn’t before because they didn’t see me. I feel much safer now. These vests are short. I’m 5’8 and the vest comes down to the middle of my stomach about 6 inches from my waist. No, I would not recommend these for heavy duty use, but for jogging they are perfect. And so lightweight, you forget you are wearing it.
