I bought the pink/black version of this shoe for working out at the gym. It is a very good shoe BUT for some reason they put “curly” shoelaces on it which I am going to have to replace because they are extremely difficult to work with. I suppose the purpose was to have a lace that does not easily come undone but they are more of a hassle than they are worth.

I walk everywhere, and work as a massage therapist. not only do these shoes keep me straight on the ice but they are comfortable and light weight. I love them and would recommend these to anyone looking for a good TRACTION shoe…for running and life

My wife wears this shoe and loves it. I got the men’s version and made my real review there. Simply put, this shoe has excellent traction and quite a responsive ride. The rubber is soft so has great grip on rocky surfaces too – but this means it won’t last long on pavement – if you want a road shoe, look elsewhere…
If the New Balance last fits your feet well, and you want a LIGHT, RESPONSIVE TRAIL RACING SHOE, then check this one out.
