I got this primarily to measure heart rate. It does show the heart rate, at 81, a minute later 72, then 85, down to 69, etc. It is inconsistent to the point that you can't trust the reading.

I have tried two other heart rate watches (you can look at my other reviews) and this is my favorite (also less expensive). I like the pink color a lot. It is about the same accuracy as the others (off anywhere from 1-4 beats a minute (always lower) from the machines' readings, but fairly consistent, and great to have when the machines pulse reader dies). It reads faster than the other two watches, within four seconds. I have not had problems with it not giving a reading, even when at 150 or above.

They are smaller than the other watches I bought, and thus much more feminine. The readings are almost as easy to see as the larger watches, and quite sufficient. It didn't take long to set up using the manufacturers instructions, and easy to remember so you don't have to look anything up again. It only took me a few minutes to get it all set, and no refresher course to reset things. I like the timer feature, and find it easy to use to time exercises at the gym. I set it to 45 seconds; I just push a couple of buttons and in 45 seconds it beeps at me. It is not a complex watch, which I like.

The first watch I received did not work, so I did what the packaging recommended and called Reebok themselves. They quickly sent me out a new watch after I e-mailed them my receipts. They accidentally sent out a blue replacement, but made up for it by letting me keep that one and sent me out the correct pink one. Both the blue and pink work quite well, and both look nice (but I just like the girlie pink one better).

I would give it a five star if it were just a tad more accurate, but knowing that it always reads around two beats lower, I just compensate.

Don't be afraid to order if you have a large wrist. Mine measures 6 1/2 inches and I have two notches left.

The reason we got this watch was for my wife to be able to take her heart rate. In order to do this, you must place your index finger on one of the metal "buttons" on the face of the watch, and your middle finger on the other. Even with a good deal of pressure on the buttons, the watch only registered a heart rate reading about 50% of the time.

This is simply a terrific little watch that does exactly what I want it to do. It works perfectly and is very consistent in reading heart rate and calories burned. I'm very satisfied!

I like this watch overall, the color, the look and its functions too. The heart rate monitor was pretty accurate to my standard. The only reason I give it a 2 star is because my watch broke down just a few months after I purchased it. Well...actually less than 20 times...since I didn't go to the gym very often. It happened when I pressed down on the buttons, and one of them just never came back up. So it was making a continous beeping noise all the way driving home. I tried to fix it but ended up taking the batteries out and had to throw it away.
