Compatible with Slendertone’s Flex Abdominal, Gymbody, and System Abs toning belts, this set of replacement gel pads will help you get the most of your Slendertone product. The length of time gel pads last depends on a number of factors, including your skin type, frequency of use, and how the pads are stored (Slendertone recommends that you replace your pads after 20 to 30 sessions). Fortunately, these replacement pads are a breeze to use, with a latex-free, no-mess design that helps conduct electrical pulses to targeted nerves and muscles. All Slendertone replacement pads and accessories are manufactured to medical-grade and FDA-approved standards and are suitable for both men and women. The set comes in three groups of three pads each, for a total of nine pads.

I have used both a Gymbody and now the System Abs. There is no question these products do not remove fat from your body. If you’ve got a set of love handles or a full blown spare tire, this product does not get rid of it. What it does is help you tone your abs. From my own experience, I know it’s true [as the surgeon who installed a PEG feeding tube into my stomach told my wife: "Your husband has the stomach muscles of a 20-year-old." I am 53]. Does it replace situps and crunches and exercise wheels? No. But it sure makes those things more effective. But here’s my question: why is it cheaper to buy the replacement gel pads by the single-pack, as opposed to the three-pack? Not by much mind you, but still cheaper [as of 10.26.08].

How to make your pad’s last longer and never wear out.
The secret is this; prior to using them, rub the pads down
with rubbing alcohol. Make sure they are soaked and then
rub your skin down with it to. May take a few minutes for
them to work, so be patient. You will never have to buy
another set of pads.

I’ve been using this device for as long as 3 months and I have to say that except for an unnoticeable toning, the device is completely useless. I’d better back to the gym and exercise my abdominals by myself

Excellent product!! The refills last a very long time. My abs look and feel great. In fact, people eat lunch off my abs from 12-2PM on Thursdays.

I have not started using my belt yet but instead was just looking at purchasing replacements ahead of time. I noticed that on Amazon the 9 pad refill is $10 cheaper then the Slendertone website but you still have to ad shipping on the Amazon order because it’s 5 cents away from qualifying for the free shipping. If you order 18 pads then you certainly qualify for free shipping with a total of $49.90. But if you order 18 pads from Slendertone the price is only 9 cents more $49.99 with free shipping as well.
Speaking for myself, I would rather by the product from the original creator instead of Amazon if the price is only 9 cents difference for 18 pads.
Can’t wait to start using this to see how it works and will be back for a product review in a few weeks.
