I have wanted something to remind me once a day to take a medication. Without going into detail, the ways I’d normally remind myself (cell phone alarm, computer reminder program, alarm clock, etc.) are not workable in this particular situation and I had to find something else.
Something small and unobtrusive, light weight, clip-on, with settable audible alarm, are my criteria. I bought a few different products that appeared to fit, and this was one of them.
Pros:
Very light weight, buttons spaced well apart, reasonably small size, good price
Cons:
Construction could be a little more rugged. As others have noted, the alarm is soft and easily missed in a noisy environment.
General observations:
Overall, this watch is working for my intended purpose, provided I am where I can hear the alarm. My search is not over, but this should do until I find something else with a louder alarm sound.
A crescendo alarm, one that starts off soft but gradually increases in volume until silenced, would be a welcome improvement to this product.
So far the watch is keeping time.
Cannot comment on the remaining features, as I only use the alarm and clock portions. I did note the hourly chime feature works correctly, before I turned it off.
Rating: 4 / 6
This product was a huge disappiontment. It broke after only one month. You might as well buy cheap ones, they’d probably last longer.

This stopwatch is compact but the alarm is not too loud. The compass is useless. By the way, to silence the alarm from sounding daily, just press START/STOP SET button and, while holding it, press SPLIT/RESET button.

I bought this item because I wanted an inexpensive stopwatch – not a watch or an alarm clock. The setting of the various features is not particularly intuitive, and it’s easy to jog it from one mode to another inadvertently. It serves its function, but I think it could be better.

I like that this stop watch is compact. I am unsure how to turn off this alarm that goes off every day. I end up messing up everything I set trying to hush the alarm as it goes off at the most inappropriate times. It is not a bad stop watch… just do not throw out the directions.
