This pedometer will show your step count, your jog or hiking count, your steps per mile, jog per mile, calories burned, total miles traveled, and it can automatically cycle through the data. It also has an auto off to save battery life when your not moving.

I was so excited to get this one but when I put it on it was so uncomfortable to wear. The top of the clip is angled a bit towards your body and the very top part is not rounded so it digs in. Also, there are deep ridges that look like they are there for a secure grip when removing the pedometer from your waistline. These ridges dig in when I'm sitting and rub when I'm walking or running.

If you wear your pedometer on your belt then your clothing will protect you, but if you wear it on your shorts or if you don't wear a belt this is probably not going to be very comfortable.

It's too bad the designers didn't think of comfort when designing the top of the clip because it shows a lot of info and it's a nice compact size.

I was excited to purchase this small pedometer that had every feature I needed. The only problem is that none of them work. After running my usual three mile route, the pedometer told me that I had run only .3 miles. It also said I had burned under 100 calaries and was running 3.2 mph. I would have not been as upset if at least one function worked, but nothing did!

The features of the Sportline 360 pedometer are great. It covers everything you want in a pedometer. Steps, distance, calories, time, speed. And more.

Why didn't I give it more stars? I'm pretty hard on pedometers because I don't just wear them during a walk around the block. I'm trying to hit a target number of steps everyday, so I wear it all the time. This lends itself to having the belt clip being damaged over time.

Normally replacing the clip isn't a big problem. Order another from the company's website for a few bucks and you're back in business in a few days. With Sportline, they don't sell parts. Uhuh. That means I had to ship my pedometer and broken beltclip back to Pennsylvania. I'm still waiting for the new replacement to come by Pony Express. I mean the Postal Service. Just be aware that if you break the clip you'll lose the use of the unit until it can be replaced.

Other than that it's a great unit and I love it.

I bought the Walking Advantage Sportline pedometer. It took some tweaking to get it working for me. I went to the High School track and walked around a quarter mile till I got it set so it came out EXACTLY .25 miles. After that , I felt I could really trust the mileage.

I LOVE the Sportline model for the features, the Omrom does NOT have.

The Sportline times your actual walking. And stope shen you stop. Gives you a read out of MPH which I like.

Best of all, since I work nights, it does NOT roll over to 00 at midnight!

However, on the downside, I WISH it had a clip for extra security to secure it so in case it came off me, it would not fall and get broken. Mine came off during bathroom breaks and broke , and made me sick. I was wearing it for a 9 mile hike, and really wanted to measure that!

Otherwise, highly recommended for all the features it has.
it saddens me to know that she cannot use the gift i sent her.
thanks
