I was very dissapointed in this DVD.
I purchased the Stamina reformer and needed DVDs to go with it.
- There’s no chapter and a long introduction. I normally start the DVD before I get dressed and get the performer ready. When I’m ready, I still have to fast-forward to find the beginning of the work-out. For $29.00, I expected an interactive DVD, at least some chapters!
- the exercises are virtually the same that came with the free DVD included with the Performer I purchased! (Level 1), so if you already have Level 1, you are wasting $29.00
- the DVD is short, I expected more variations and more exercises.
- the teacher is good but nothing spectacular. I was hoping for more explanation of what each exercise did for my body.
Bottom line: if you already have other Stamina Pilates DVDs, same your money.

I am glad I purchased this dvd along with the Upper Body DVD. Marjolein Brugman is a great teacher and it starts with warm ups for the lower body (in some ways similar to the Upper Body Workout. I did feel the burn with the exercises. The time passed quickly and there are alternate views of foot position using a mini picture screen in the top right hand corner of the screen. There is faint classical music in the background. I wish the music was more inspiring though.

Okay, I was a bit confused because the opening of this dvd says it is the upper-body workout. I actually took it out of the player to make sure I had the right one in and sure enough after several times playing the start it did say upper-body, however it is the lower-body workout. Other than that confusion, I found this dvd to be really good. I also have the upper-body one and I really like how on these dvd’s the narrator is not the person performing the exercises. If you already have a preformer/reformer machine this is a great dvd. It is easy to follow along and gives you time to preform all the reps. If you are looking for a reformer/preformer dvd I recomend this one. It was fun!

This workout is not very good. I bought it because I have the corresponding Stamina Pilates Premier, but other reformer DVDs will work fine.

I love this DVD and workout to it often. It certainly has improved my flexability and I have seen an improvement in the definition of my legs!
