This stretcher is ok. It has a tendency for the top end of it to raise as you are pulling yourself forward. This can be frustrating when you are really starting to make progress. This works, but not as good as I’d hoped it would.

I’ve been practicing martial arts for about 5 years now, and stretchers like this have always caught my eye. But after trying it, I agree with another poster. Unless you have knee problems where you can’t stand and stretch, it feels easier and more productive to stand and use your bodyweight to slowly drop into a split than use this thing. I find the foam covers more annoying than anything. Sure they protect your ankles, but they also snag the carpet. And it takes a LOT of space to stretch, when you consider it works basically like a partner stretch without a partner. Where you grab a partners hand and their feet would go inside your leg like this device is doing and they push on your thighs but here you’re using you back and arms to stretch your legs.
Another thing, I’ve used a more expensive Century stretching machine, and I do love that particular stretcher, where you can crank and it’ll hold you in that stretch until you’re ready to crank another notch. That’s what this one is trying to be, I still prefer stretching on my own that with this contraption.
Simply..
it was a lot bigger and took more space than I liked. I still prefer standing and letting gravity do the work. The ONLY reason I can think to use this is if you’re knees give you a problem stretching while standing.

I bought this and then gave it away and bought a real leg stretcher. If you don’t want to spend money on a real leg stretcher then just stay in the splits position for 10 min a day. This thing is not worth it at all. Seriously I just didn’t like it and found it useless.

A good product, which gets the job done without the heavy cost of some stretchers. The negative I have about the product is there should have been a way to make your next adjustments, without having to unscrew the first hole to get to the next phase. It gives you a great stretch and if you’re consistent, you do get results.

Pretty neat little stretcher. It’s compact, durable, and it works. The only problem is, it drags harshly along carpeting when you try to widen your stretch. Otherwise, no complaints. Great product.
