The watch itself is great but the reverse display is very disappointing. If you actually want this watch for competitive sporting purposes, swimming in particular, then I would go for the black on white display as a quick glimpse at this diplay I fear would not be possible and would consequently lose you valuable time.

Made of cheese. The display fogged the 2nd time I showered with it on. So I stopped showering and swimming with this “triathlon” watch on. It still died in under 2 months from purchase. My last Timex ran 7 years, until it was crushed by a car.
My mistake – THIS was my ‘last Timex’.

As a lifelong Timex wearer, I thought this watch would be up to Timex standards. It’s not! The face is so dark, you can hardly tell what time it is without pushing the indiglo button (kind of a pain)especially if you’re in the water. Incidentally, the instructions say not to push buttons in the water or you could damage the integrity of the waterproof seal … uh, hello … it’s a triathlon watch! The alarm is relatively faint, and the buttons are not at all user friendly. In fact, it takes 10 button pushes simply to set the hourly chime. Very disappointing! Oh, and one more thing … I was initially led to believe this was a 5-alarm watch like my former triathlon watch. It only has 3 alarms.
