My first attempt at purchasing a watch for my wife resulted in the return of a very attractive, but completely impractical, Fossil watch. She is completely happy, however, with the Ironman. The white resin band is attractive and gives it a bit of a different look than other sport watches. If it’s anything like other Ironmans I’ve owned over the years it should be very durable under any and all conditions.
The watch is very easy to read and has more functions than my wife, or most people for that matter, will need or use. The alarm function is very useful, as is the back-light feature and the 2 time zone capability. Also, like other Ironmans, the resin watchband is not replaceable, so plan on using the watch until if falls apart (hopefully a few years) and then purchasing another.

I bought this watch and really liked it, but at the beach a few weeks later, condensation built up underneath the plastic face. That has happened before, so I wasn’t very worried, but when it went away, it ruined the screen. Now I can’t read the numbers or anything. Instead of having to buy a whole new watch, I was wondering if there was anywhere that I could find replacements for the insides of this watch?
