Nice, it is not a hard ball like I’ve worked with at physical therapy. It is softer. True to weight. Easy to use for exercises.

Perfect size to juggle with. Bought 3 to work with. It is quite a workout keeping these ball going. Have dropped them many times now…no damage to the balls themselves. Its a total body workout just to juggle the 3 balls for 2 minutes. Someday I hope to get up to the 10 pounders!

I was dumb enought to think that it was a good sized ball. It is about the size of a yoga medicine ball.

This product is great and so far I had no problem with it all but I got a letter through the mail that said something about this product being recalled because if you inflate it too much it can explode and cause some injuries.
Maybe they have fixed this problem now cause I got it awhile back.
So other than that problem, this product is good.
It is smaller than I’d imagine. (A little bigger than a baseball and smaller than a basketball.)

It’s obviously my fault for not realizing what 5″ diameter means, but I was surprised to find this quite a bit smaller than I was expecting. This actually ended up okay (once I bought a medicine ball that was closer in size to what I was visualizing) because certain lifts work better with a small ball, especially one that be gripped with one hand.
The ball does need a tiny bit of air pumped in before use (a needle is provided in the packaging), but it is a little annoying to have the inner volume be 80% sand, 20% air, which you can definitely feel.
This is a very simple product and, paraphrasing the immortal Dennis Green, “it is what we thought it was” (just make sure you think it’s a 5″ ball).
